Context News is the entry-level intelligence module. Each morning, Numen reads the day's coverage from a curated newsroom set, ranks it against your business profile, strips the politically charged noise, and composes a brief.
How ranking works
Every article gets a relevance score against the profile fields you set during onboarding — industry, business model, key markets, strategic priorities, risk surface. Articles with no business signal are dropped. Articles flagged as politically divisive without business relevance are dropped. What remains is the news that touches the work you actually do.
Conversation prompts
For articles you want to bring into a leadership meeting, click the flag icon. Flagged items collect into a Today's Conversation list. They surface in your weekly leadership meeting briefing if you have one configured.
Compose cadence
The compose cron runs daily at 11:30 UTC. If you are looking at Context News and the brief is missing or stale, hit the Compose now button — Numen will regenerate against the most recent ranked articles.
