Crowdfunding and Reg A Raises
New Regulation Crowdfunding offerings (Form C) and Regulation A offering statements (Form 1-A) filed with the SEC each quarter
Plays the chart through its history. Pauses are where the data set a record or moved most.
Offerings launched and money sought, not money raised: the filings have no reliable field for the amount finally sold.
The two public routes for small companies to raise from ordinary investors. Crowdfunding offerings run on registered funding portals; Regulation A offerings are mini-IPOs with lighter disclosure than a full registration. Both counts come from the SEC's structured data sets and update each quarter.
