From Federal Solicitation to Award
New federal purchase orders and contracts over the past year, per SAM.gov solicitation posted in the year ending a quarter earlier
Plays the chart through its history. Pauses are where the data set a record or moved most.
Continuation isn't available for this series: Last observation was 144 days ago — too stale to project.
New awards from USAspending: purchase orders and definitive contracts above the small-purchase floor, by award start. Solicitations from SAM.gov. An aggregate ratio, not a notice-by-notice match.
How much of the posted pipeline turns into new awards (USAspending award types B and D of $25,000 or more, trailing 12 months, against SAM.gov solicitations lagged one quarter). One solicitation can produce several awards and some produce none, so read the direction: a falling ratio means bids are piling up faster than contracts go out.
