Getting Started

Your First Week

A sensible cadence for the first five working days inside Palanor.

Updated 2026-05-17

The first week is about calibrating the platform to your organization. Numen needs context, and the signals + scenarios you set today shape every reading you see for the next year.

Day 1 — Profile and brief

Complete the business profile during onboarding if you have not already. Open Context News and click Compose to generate your first brief. Read it critically: did Numen catch what matters?

Day 2 — Signals

Open Signal Watch. Walk through the catalog and mark the 10–20 that map to your business. Set strength for each. Strength is a 0.0–1.0 dial: 0.6 is a normal-conviction default, 0.9+ is a keystone signal.

Day 3 — First scenario

Build one scenario. Guided is fastest if you are still finding your voice; Builder is fastest if you already know exactly what you are watching for. Either path produces the same shape.

Day 4 — Leading actions

Open your scenario. Under Leading Action, add 2–3 staged responses ("when probability crosses 60%, do X"). These are what Numen will surface when the scenario moves.

Day 5 — Read posture

Look at the top-right Posture score. Click into it. The factor breakdown shows which scenarios and signals are pulling it. That is your composite for the week.
