Firms: shared clients on Terminal Pro

A firm is Terminal Pro for a team: the firm holds clients, owners and admins assign people to them, and every report can carry one brand.

Updated 2026-10-22

A firm is an organization on the Terminal Pro bundle: the same members, seats, invitations and audit as any organization, and none of the Enterprise products (no Context News, Scenarios, Board Gateway and the rest). Consultancies, actuarial practices and analyst teams use one so a client can belong to the practice rather than to one person.

Who holds a client

A client is held by a person or by a firm, never both. Your own clients stay yours. A firm's clients belong to the firm: you open one when an owner or admin of the firm has assigned you to it, and the firm's owners and admins can open all of them. Whoever adds a client to the firm leads it; an owner or admin can assign others as lead or member, or take them off.

If you leave the firm, you keep your own clients and lose the firm's at once. The firm's clients stay with the firm.

The firm's pages

Choose the firm in the scope switcher (the Firm group, between Your clients and Organizations). The menu's The firm section has:

  • Overview: every client the firm holds (or the ones you are assigned to), who is on what, reports sent in the last 30 days and how many were opened, seats in use, and for owners and admins this month's model use across seats.
  • Numen: your Numen sessions on the firm's clients, with the changes waiting for your approval.
  • Clients: the firm's clients, assignments, and Add a client to the firm.
  • Reports: every report a member made on a firm client you can see. You can read and export a colleague's report; sharing and deleting stay with its author.
  • Brand kit: one brand for every firm report. It applies when the author has no brand kit of their own; your own kit still wins on your work. White-label drops only "Prepared with Palanor"; the sources always stay.
  • Members & seats: the same page every organization has.
  • Usage & billing (owners and admins): each seat's model use this month and the firm's contract.

As Me, each firm also has its own section in the menu with Firm overview and the firm's clients assigned to you. PersonalCast includes those clients, by name, alongside your own.

Seats and billing

Every seat keeps its own Pro usage wallet with the month's included use; nothing on the firm's pages charges anyone. A firm is set up by Palanor and billed through its contract. While the contract is live, every member of the firm holds Terminal Pro; leaving the firm returns you to Reader unless you pay for Pro yourself. Ask Palanor to set up a firm or add seats.
