Casts: CompanyCast and PersonalCast

Daily and weekly audio editions for your organization and for you, with footnoted sources, a choice of language, your own settings and a private podcast feed.

Updated 2026-10-23

Casts is one page for Palanor's audio. Two shows, each in a daily and a weekly edition:

  • CompanyCast is made for your organization. The daily edition is this morning's Context News read aloud by the Council. The weekly edition is a conversation with your assigned analyst about the week: what changed in their view, the answers to your team's questions, and what to watch next. With no analyst assigned, Marcus hosts the week in review.
  • PersonalCast is made for you (Terminal Pro). The daily edition reads your watchlist and your clients' signals; the weekly edition goes client by client. It's included in Terminal Pro and never draws on your usage balance.

The page

The top of the page is set like the Context News front page. Beside the name sit two panels:

  • On the left, the other edition of the show you're on. On the daily, it shows the weekly: who hosts it, when it last recorded or the day it records. Its switch says whether you receive that edition.
  • On the right, your Today's Read, the moves Numen's read for you leads with. Read it opens it in Context News.

Under the double rule:

  • CompanyCast / PersonalCast and Daily / Weekly choose what you're listening to.
  • Receive says whether you get the edition on screen. Turning it off stops it for you, not for your organization.
  • Past episodes, Podcast feed, Share and Settings open in place.
  • The language menu chooses the copy you hear (below).

Then the player, which stays at the top as you scroll, and the transcript. Each voice is named beside what they said. The small numbers after a turn are footnotes: tap one to see the story, signal or note it rests on. On wide screens, sources appear in the margin where they're first cited. In this episode lists the stories in the order they come up; tap one to jump there. Reference footnotes from this episode lists every source with links to the outlets that reported it. How this episode was made explains the steps.

Episodes recorded before footnotes arrived (October 23, 2026) have no sources listed.

Languages

Every episode is written and checked in English, then recorded in your organization's main language, English or Spanish. Owners and admins can also record copies in other languages: Spanish, Portuguese or English. Each copy is translated from the checked script, and a copy is kept only if every figure, name and link survives the translation; otherwise that episode records in the main language.

Choose the copy you hear from the language menu. Languages your organization doesn't record are shown but can't be chosen. Your PersonalCast can be recorded in English, Spanish or Portuguese.

Settings

  • Your PersonalCast: which days the daily edition records, the day for the weekly, the time and time zone, the length, what it covers (watchlist, clients or both), the language and how you're told it's ready (in the app, a push to the phone, email). Make today's episode now records one at once.
  • Your CompanyCast listening: your language and how you're told a new episode is ready. The daily episode already arrives with your Morning edition notice.
  • For everyone at your organization (owners and admins): the daily and weekly editions on or off, the weekly's day, the length, the main language, and which other languages to record. Changes are logged in your audit trail. The daily edition needs the Morning edition, which Palanor switches on.

On your phone

In the Palanor app, CompanyCast lives under Context and PersonalCast on Today. Both have a Daily / Weekly switch, and every episode lists its sources: tap Sources under the player to see what each part of the episode rests on.

Listen in your podcast app

New feed link makes a private feed with every Cast you receive. Add it to Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts or any app that adds a show by URL. The link is shown only once, when you make it. Anyone who has it can hear your episodes, so don't share it; revoke it on the page if it gets out. You can have five links, one per app or device.

The feed checks your access every time your app refreshes: if you leave an organization, its episodes leave your feed, and PersonalCast episodes stop if Terminal Pro ends. Making a link counts as your acknowledgment that Casts are produced by AI and can contain errors; every episode in the feed carries that notice and its sources.

AI notice

Casts are written and voiced by AI. They can make mistakes, misstate figures or misattribute statements. Treat them as briefings to verify, not a source of record.
