The Federal Contracts Tracker has two views. Opportunities lists the notices agencies post on SAM.gov: solicitations and combined synopsis/solicitations, and the early notices (presolicitations and sources sought). Awards lists new federal contract awards of $10 million or more reported to USAspending. It is in the Terminal at app.palanor.com/trackers/federal-contracts. In your organization, members reach it through My Tracker, the Trackers row in the menu (app.palanor.com/<your organization>/trackers): its feed reads this tracker through your organization's scope, and every public tracker is listed below the feed.
Filters
Agency (the department), industry (NAICS sector), state (place of performance), type, small-business set-asides and still-open solicitations for opportunities; recipient, listed companies only and a smallest amount for awards; dates for both.
Award follows opportunity
An award links to SAM.gov when its contract number matches an award notice there, and through that notice's solicitation number to the opportunity it was posted as. An opportunity shows the award that followed it where one is known. Most small awards and orders under existing contract vehicles have no public opportunity, so many awards stand alone.
Companies
A recipient links to the company graph by its SAM.gov Unique Entity ID, else by the graph's name rules (exact normalized legal name, legal forms checked). A subsidiary rolls up to its listed parent where the graph has the parent. The company's Dossier has a Federal contract awards panel, and the command bar opens it with `<TICKER> CONTRACTS`.
Dates and amounts
Opportunities are dated by the day they were posted. Awards are dated by the action date USAspending reports, and the amount is the award amount reported for the new award; options and later modifications can change it. Agencies report awards with a lag, and the Defense Department with a 90-day delay, so recent weeks fill in.
Downloads and the API
Rows download as CSV with a Pro or Enterprise API key, or a full seat on Palanor Enterprise, and through /v1/trackers/federal-contracts (add kind=awards) and the MCP tool palanor_tracker. SAM.gov and USAspending data are U.S. government data in the public domain; contact names and addresses are never stored.
Rows are federal records. Nothing in the tracker is a forecast, a bid recommendation or advice.
