Risk Events Tracker

Product and vehicle recalls, EPA enforcement cases, CFPB complaint spikes, OSHA inspections and Wage and Hour cases, each with the agency's record and the listed company where the name rules link it.

Updated 2026-10-24

The Risk Events Tracker lists the agency records behind every company's Risk events timeline: CPSC product recalls (from 2010), NHTSA vehicle and equipment recalls (from 2010), EPA ECHO federal civil enforcement cases with their federal penalty (from 2010), CFPB complaint spikes (a month with at least three times a company's prior 12-month average, from 2012), and OSHA inspections and Wage and Hour cases from the Department of Labor (from 2021). It is in the Terminal at app.palanor.com/trackers/risk-events. In your organization, members reach it through My Tracker, the Trackers row in the menu (app.palanor.com/<your organization>/trackers): its feed reads this tracker through your organization's scope, and every public tracker is listed below the feed.

Companies

A record names a listed company only where the company graph's name rules link the name as filed: an exact match of the normalized legal name, legal forms checked spelling by spelling, and bare common words refused for workplace names (a gas station called "Shell" is not Shell plc). A subsidiary rolls up to its listed parent. A product or vehicle recall that names a brand or an operating subsidiary ("Lithonia Lighting", "Jayco, Inc.") links to its listed owner through a hand-checked brand table: each brand cites the owner's own filing or site, and a recall links only if it is dated while the owner held the brand. Records that do not link keep the name as filed, and Listed companies only hides them. OSHA and Wage and Hour records are kept only for companies in the graph. EPA defendants that read as private individuals are never named.

What a row is not

An inspection or a case is not a finding of fault unless the record says so. Complaint counts are not a sample of customers' experience. A recall's unit count is the manufacturer's estimate.

Follow and alerts

Follow a company, a source, a state or a view. Under the table, a rule alerts on any EPA case with a penalty of $1 million or more; any tracker rule can carry a smallest amount. The company's Dossier keeps its Risk events timeline on the Identity and graph tab, and the command bar opens it with `<TICKER> RISKS`.

Downloads and the API

Rows download as CSV with a Pro or Enterprise API key, or a full seat on Palanor Enterprise, and through /v1/trackers/risk-events and the MCP tool palanor_tracker. All six sources are U.S. federal records in the public domain.

Rows are agency records. Nothing in the tracker is a finding by Palanor, a forecast or advice.
