Launchpad is your desk at app.palanor.com/launchpad. It is made of pages, and each page holds panels on a grid. It opens the way you left it, on any device you sign in from.
Your first pages
Until you change anything, Launchpad shows a starting set chosen for your account. Readers and Pro accounts get a Today page with a watchlist, a live chart, The Wire, a Foresight forecast, an explain card and alerts. Enterprise members also get CompanyCast and their organization's latest Study or saved screen. Your first change saves the set as your own.
Panels
Press Add panel (or A) and pick one of nine:
- Watchlist: your watched signals with the latest reading, the change and a sparkline.
- Live chart: any Library chart, or any signal as a chart, with a range of 1, 5 or 10 years or all.
- The Wire: the most talked-about stories.
- Saved screen: a saved Entity Screener query, with its match count and newest matches.
- Study: a Study's question and its tracked chart.
- CompanyCast: your organization's latest episode, ready to play.
- Alerts: your newest notifications.
- Foresight: a signal's history and its Palanor Foresight forecast with the range.
- Explain card: where a signal stands in its own record, its source and what moves with it.
Panels that point at something (a chart, a signal, a screen, a Study) ask you to choose it when you add them. Change… in the panel menu picks another.
Move and resize
Drag a panel by its header. The other panels make room, and a coral outline shows where it will land. Drag the corner to resize. With a panel header focused, the arrow keys move it, Shift with an arrow resizes it, Enter opens its settings and Delete removes it. Right-click a panel (or use its ⋯ menu) for wider, narrower, move to top, move to another page, rename and remove. Every change saves on its own.
Pages
Tabs across the top are your pages. + adds one. Double-click a tab (or press F2) to rename it, and drag tabs to reorder them. Right-click a tab to duplicate, share or delete it. [ and ] step between pages, and 1 to 9 jump straight to one.
Share with your team
Share makes the current page read-only for one organization you belong to. Members find it under Shared with you. They see the same panels, but personal panels (watchlist, alerts) show their own data, and a Study or screen shows only if they can already open it. Copy to my Launchpad gives them their own copy to change. Share again to stop sharing.
On a phone, the panels stack in one column in the same order.
