Generic scenarios miss because they aren't written against the business doing the planning. Facilitated Scenarios is a multi-week engagement where a Palanor researcher co-authors your custom scenario set — pressure-tested with your team, linked to the specific signals each scenario depends on, and stewarded into the platform with continuing scoring.

What it is

A structured 4-6 week engagement to author the scenarios specific to your business. Begins with a discovery session to map your strategic surface and the futures you should be testing against. Researcher then drafts the scenario set, returns it to your team for pressure-testing, refines, signal-links, and finalizes. The scenarios live in your Palanor account thereafter with continuing probability scoring.

Who it's for

Companies in inflection moments — new strategy, new capital structure, new leadership, new regulatory environment. PE portfolio companies between 12-24 months post-acquisition. Family offices reframing multi-generational positioning. Boards that want a scenario set authored before the strategic review, not during it.

Format

4-6 weeks. One discovery session + 2-3 working sessions + 1-2 review sessions. Deliverable: typically 5-8 custom scenarios in your Palanor account, signal-linked and continuously scored. Optional Council retainer afterward to keep them current.
