Methodology
## What this measures
Gross domestic product per person in Peru, at constant 2021 international dollars (purchasing-power parity), one value per year.
## Why it matters
The standard measure of average income that removes both inflation and price-level differences, so a country can be compared with its own past and with others.
## How to read it
Higher means more output per person. Because it is in constant dollars, the line shows real growth in living standards.
## What it does not say
An average: it says nothing about how income is shared. Purchasing-power estimates are revised with each new price comparison round.
