Methodology
## What this measures
People aged 15–24 as a share of everyone aged 15 and over in Saudi Arabia, a Palanor calculation from World Bank population counts by age.
## Why it matters
A large young adult cohort ("youth bulge") is a recognized source of pressure on jobs, housing and politics (Urdal, 2006).
## How to read it
Higher means a younger adult population. Rich, ageing countries sit near 10–12%; young populations above 25%.
## What it does not say
Counts people, not their prospects: a youth bulge with jobs and schooling is a demographic dividend, not a pressure.
