Hyperscalers' Cash and Cash Equivalents
Latest
201.81USD billions
Methodology
## What this measures
The sum of Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Oracle's cash and cash equivalents at each calendar quarter end, in U.S. dollars (billions). Each company's figure is the one series credit.hyperscaler.<ticker>.cash_usd_bn holds.
## Why it matters
The five largest cloud and AI infrastructure spenders carry most of the build-out's obligations; their total shows how much has been committed across them.
## How to read it
A quarter appears only when every one of the five has a reading dated on the quarter end or in the 80 days before it, so Oracle's quarters (ending a month before the calendar's) count toward the calendar quarter they end in.
## What it does not say
Each company tags these lines its own way (see each company's series), so the total adds figures that are close but not identical in scope. Nvidia and CoreWeave have their own series and are not in the total.
