Form D founders with a known alma mater, share of people named

Methodology
## What this measures
Of the distinct people (by name and issuer) named as executive officers, directors or promoters on venture-style Form D raises filed in each year, the share matched to a Wikidata person with a school on record.
## Why it matters
It is the coverage behind every founders-by-university count Palanor publishes: small, and stated so the counts are read as what they are.
## How to read it
2026: 0.14%. Low by design: matching requires both an exact name and the exact company, because a wrong match is worse than a missing one.
## What it does not say
It is not the share of founders with a degree. It is the share Palanor can name a school for from open data.
## How it's built
See the founders-by-university series: same match, same rules.
