Türkiye Unemployment Rate (Monthly, Eurostat)

Methodology
## What this measures
The share of Türkiye's labour force that has no job, is available to work and is looking for one, each month, seasonally adjusted, both sexes. Eurostat publishes it on the International Labour Organization definition alongside the EU members, so it compares with them.
## Why it matters
Türkiye is an official EU candidate country; this puts its labour market on the same footing as the EU's on the Europe map.
## How to read it
Higher means more people out of work. Watch the direction over three months, and compare with the EU rate on the same month.
## What it does not say
Eurostat compiles it from Türkiye's national labour force survey; figures are revised and can differ from the national office's headline (age range, survey timing). It arrives a month or so after most EU members.
