Methodology
## What this measures
The value of goods Mexico sold to the United States in the month.
## Why it matters
The U.S. buys more than four fifths of Mexico's exports; this is where tariffs and nearshoring show up.
## How to read it
Compare with the U.S. share of exports (mexico.us_share_of_exports) and with Canada (canada.trade.exports_to_us).
## What it does not say
It lags the headline trade release by about a month and is not seasonally adjusted.
