The largest economies by the October 2026 edition are shown; the IMF publishes no projection for Afghanistan, Lebanon, Syria or the West Bank and Gaza.
The size of each economy in the IMF’s Middle East and Central Asia region this year, in US dollars at market exchange rates. Saudi Arabia is the largest, followed by the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Egypt and Kazakhstan.
