Quartr collects what public companies say and publish: live calls, transcripts, slides and filings, for more than 16,000 companies. Palanor reads S&P 500 earnings calls and filings and measures them: tone and confidence over time, guidance against results, changes in risk factors. It then joins those measures to the rest of its signal lattice. The two are complementary.

  • Two offerings: Quartr Pro, a research platform with transcript, slide and filing search, keyword alerts, a global event calendar and automations; and the Quartr API. “MCP access is included in your Quartr Pro subscription.”[5][6][3]

Questions

Does Quartr score earnings call sentiment?
Quartr’s product pages describe transcripts, event summaries, search and keyword alerts. We found no tone or confidence scoring on them. Palanor scores S&P 500 calls for tone and confidence and publishes the aggregate as The Discourse Index.
Is Palanor a replacement for Quartr?
No. Palanor doesn’t publish or serve transcripts, audio or slides, and it covers the S&P 500, not 16,000+ companies worldwide. It measures what is said and joins the measures to the rest of the world. Many readers will want both.
Is Quartr’s MCP included with Quartr Pro?
Yes. Quartr’s MCP page says “MCP access is included in your Quartr Pro subscription.” Palanor MCP works with a free Palanor key.
Can I get earnings call scores through an API?
Yes. Palanor serves Discourse scores and The Discourse Index through its REST API and MCP. The transcripts themselves are not served.
