Dashed: the projection from the latest reading. A projection, not a promise.

OECD DAC1. Net flows: net disbursements over GNI, a Palanor calculation that matches the OECD’s published ratio through 2017. Since 2018 the OECD’s headline is the grant-equivalent measure. The newest year is preliminary. The UN target is seven-tenths of one per cent of GNI.

Aid measured against the size of each donor’s economy, back to 1960. The DAC average has stayed well below the UN target for its whole history; the computed headline gives the latest reading and the change.
