United States: Palanor calculation, EIA residential revenue divided by sales over the half-year (EIA counts taxes and fees in revenue), converted at the ECB’s average euro rate; it averages all U.S. homes, not one band. Iceland and Liechtenstein report later than the rest. The chart draws the dearest and cheapest countries plus the EU average and the U.S.; the data table lists every country.
