IATI (International Aid Transparency Initiative): disbursements and expenditures as publishers report them, dated when paid. Recent months fill in as late reports arrive, so a month is shown only after each publisher’s measured reporting lag, and the newest six are preliminary. Until September 2024 USAID reported most of its spending at quarter ends, so March, June, September and December stand taller before then. Transfers between U.S. agencies are counted once. Data: U.S. government agencies, CC0.
What the U.S. government’s aid agencies paid out each month, as they report it to the International Aid Transparency Initiative. The OECD’s annual figures show the 2025 cut a year later; this shows it as it happened, month by month.
