Plays the chart through its history. Pauses are where a new leader takes first place.

UN OCHA Financial Tracking Service: funding as donors and agencies report it, paid plus committed, for the year the money is for. Recent years rise as late reports arrive. Each government includes its ministries, aid agencies and development funds, as FTS groups them; private donors are companies, foundations and individuals.

Who paid for humanitarian response in the latest complete year: the largest traditional donors next to the Gulf states, Türkiye and private givers, as recorded by the UN’s Financial Tracking Service.
